Melissa Tevere graduated from Tyler School of Art with her BFA in painting in 1988. She has studied in Rome, Italy and was the recipient of a fellowship to study at Yale University's Summer School of Music and Art. She is the founding member of MamaCita. She resides in Wyncote, PA with her husband and two small children. She is a stay-at-home mom.
