Lisa Tarkett Reed earned a BFA in painting from Tyler School of Art in 1988. She earned an MFA in painting from the San Francisco Art Institute in 1992. In 2009, Reed founded Sister MamaCita. Currently, she is a member of The Artists' Gallery in Frederick, MD. Reed looks forward to teaching art at St. Catherine Laboure in Rockville, MD. in the fall of 2012.
