Kimberly Mehler is a Philadelphia-area artist working in several mediums, with an emphasis on watercolor, murals, and the ancient art of Pysanky, a wax-resist dyeing process. As her sister Tracy put it, she picked up her crayons at age 4 and never looked back! She draws inspiration from forms found in nature. The mystery and meaning of the microscopic world is another influence that can be found in Kimberly's watercolors as she explores the shadows and layers within and around the forms.

Kimberly earned her BFA from Moore College of Art in 1981 and has worked as an Art Director for design firms, ad agencies, and in the Exhibits Department at The Franklin Institute Science Museum. She went on to do mural work for public and private sectors after her children were born.
