A maternity leave led to my recent transformation from a high school English teacher to a reawakened artist and Art teacher. (Naptimes can be very productive!) The processes of printmaking fascinate me, as do the whimsy and burgeoning moments of discovery that I witness daily as a teacher of teenagers and a mother of two young children.
I earned an M.Ed. in Art from Tyler School of Art and a B. A. in Art and English from Georgetown University, and studied Art in Florence, Italy for 2 years.
