A few years ago I abandoned watercolor painting and began creating collages while recovering from cancer. First I used get well cards, then moved on to holiday cards and now incorporate other recycled materials into my two dimensional pieces. I love re-reading my cards while I cut, glue, and search for a particular shade. Through this process, the friends that sent the cards become part of the art, and many separate, beautiful pieces become a cohesive whole.

I am originally from the Boston area and moved to Elkins Park, PA in 2010, with my husband and four young kids. As part of this move, I quit my day job to pursue my artistic vocation during all my free time when I am not taking care of four kids!
