Judy Callas' work focuses on nature and time. Her medium is everchanging; paint, clay, printmaking, metal, wood, and more recently, found objects. Nature has always been a focus in her work. As a child she created and collected "things", now she assembles life's artifacts, re-purposing them into mixed media pieces to invoke the human spirit and examine the effects of time. She has been involved in art education for 18 years and currently teaches at Springside School in Philadelphia. - Judy Callas
